Students will be assessed based on their use and understanding of the facial proportions, hatching and cross-hatching techniques, and the variety of line work used in their portrait. Hold a class critique of their portraits. Shading and hatching should be done with the ink pen or reed pen.ħ. They may begin by setting up their proportions using pencil for preliminary work.
